About the Federation Project

The Federation Decline underground mine is powering up again — and we’re on the hunt for experienced Diesel Fitters to join our tight-knit maintenance crew.
📍 Location: ~15km south of Nymagee, NSW

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll work alongside a skilled crew of HD Fitters across:

• Surface workshops
  
• Underground service bays
  
• Field and breakdown operations
  

You’ll be hands-on with a fleet of advanced machinery including:
Sandvik Jumbos, Cable Bolters, Loaders, Trucks, Normet Spray Rigs, Agi Trucks, Charge-Up Rigs — and more.

Roster:

2 weeks on / 2 weeks off — rotating days and nights
FIFO & DIDO options available (with DIDO allowance for locals)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Scheduled & preventative maintenance
  
• Fault finding, diagnostics & breakdown response
  
• Fitting parts & providing technical support
  
• Always working within Redpath’s safety-first framework
  

What You Bring

• Heavy vehicle/diesel fitting trade qualification
  
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  
• Ability to pass a National Police Check within 3 months
  
• Team spirit, reliability, and a “Consider it done — safely” attitude
